Standard disclaimers blah, blah, yadda, yadda. Don't hold me responsible, but if you want to archive this, it's fine!...Although I'd like to know where. Dawn of the Goddess...A Mary Sue Adventure She lay on the midnight-hued silk sheets, her golden hair trailing like a silken waterfall over the edge of the velvet coverlet. Her body glowed with the light of a thousand reflected candles and yet the room was bereft of light. In truth she was enough to light the darkest night; to bring the noonday sun into stygian darkness of his life. He gazed at her as she slept, the sheets molded to her perfect body outlining each faultless detail. His gaze traveled the length of her, lingering over those places that had plagued his fantasies, as if feeling his red-eyed inspection she turned in her sleep, allowing the sheet to slip to reveal an expanse of alabaster pure skin, without blemish and smoother than the silk which encased her as tightly as he wished to do. Her flawless hands ran up her body as she turned, travelling the path his own had longed to follow. Tearing his gaze from her perfect form his eyes traveled to her face, that embodiment of all women. The pinnacle towards which all lesser women had striven and failed to reach. Her flawless complexion highlighted the golden cascade of her hair and was the consummate backdrop to her ruby-red lips, even in sleep they held their perfect pout, enticing and innocent at the same moment. His desire for this paragon was almost too much for even his vampiric power to bear and he gripped the doorframe with enough force to splinter the wood, at the sound she stirred again, the deep pools of her eyes opening languidly, her mouth parting slightly to reveal perfect white teeth, at the sight of him her smile widened and he was stuck speechless by her ineffable beauty, that she should choose to reward him with her presence was a constant source of amazement and wonder to him. She rose from the bed, the sheet slipping fully from her form to stand before him like a goddess risen from the waves, the fading moonlight augmenting her own inner light so she seemed to glow with the radiance of a new born sun. She smiled at him again and he was lost, falling hopelessly and endlessly into her eyes, and then, wonder beyond belief, she spoke. "I have something for you." She said, her words falling like fresh honey, each word more luscious and ambrosial than the one before. She strode past him, her scent filling his senses he felt as if he had been transported to the mythical gardens of Babylon with all it's fragrant wonders laid before him to revel in. He followed her, unable to do anything else, and saw as she lent forward and removed an object from her medical bag, he stood mesmerized as she stalked back towards his, a golden leopardess, confident in her victory and her dominance over him. "Hold out your arm, my love." She whispered, her words sending thrills of desire through him, He did as she commanded, to do otherwise was beyond his ability, before her all assaults fell back, all protests died unuttered. He steeled himself for her touch, for he knew it would overwhelm him, and he was right. As her hands grasped his arm and held it rigid his senses went into overload, the sheer closeness of her bringing the beast to the surface and he turned his hungry red-rimmed eyes upon her beauteous form. She looked up as the snarl worked its way past his clenched teeth and smiled again as she slid the needle beneath his flesh. :"Just a moment, and it will all be over, beloved." She said, her words pulling him back from the brink, calming and soothing him as only she could. He could feel her potion surging through his veins, and felt the beast retreat in it's wake, snarling and snapping in it's death throes, he looked at her in wonder as the last of it fled his body, feeling his long-lost humanity steal over him again. He wept true salty tears as he watched her walk to the window and let the dawn light fill the room, turning in it's light she appeared as an angel to him as she reached her hands towards him to beckon him back, back to the place he needed so much, back to the place where he could have her always with him. He walked into the light, a pleasant warmth playing across his skin as he took her perfect form into his arms and stared deep into her bottomless eyes, his voice returned to him as he expressed his thanks to his angel, his saviour. "Thank-you my love," he whispered into her hair, "thank-you for giving me back my life." She lent back in his embrace and gazed lovingly into his ice-blue eyes. "The only thanks I need is that you share it with me, Lucien." She said and as one they turned to watch the dawn break over their new life, side-by-side, as it was meant to be. Fin Sorry.......
