Be gentle, I've never done a filk before.

Forever Knight belongs to the copyright people at Sony/Tristar, etc... The
whole spiel doesn't belong to me.

Holding Out For A Hero, as by Bonnie Tyler, the song I have filked, is from
the Footloose soundtrack.  I didn't write to origional words, the music, or
even breathe the same air as those who did.

I'm making no money from this.  In fact, people want *me* to pay >them< for
reading it.

and now the explanation for this piece of madness:

Have you ever been at work on your latest piece of fan fiction, only to find
that you have written yourself intoa coner?  I did, early this week, and was
standing in my kitchen, trying to work out the most recent problem, when I
realized the constant loop of music in my mind (sometimes it's like being
locked in an elevator), was playing Holding Out For a Hero.  I started
humming, and one of my cats started meowing along.  So I started making up
words, and Viola!  the chorus was born!

But alas, I needed a FK reference in order for it to meet the criteria of
this list.  So I thought, hey, since so many people have re-written Last
Knight (*I* haven't seen it - It didn't happen), I thought I'd include them
in it.

Permision granted to archive to Mel.  Anyone else wanna borrow, lemme know.

Where can I turn to find a character to bleed?
Late at night I type and I gripe,
