No copyright infringements intended. This is NOT for profit. But please! Don't ask me what ever possessed me to write this story. Maybe I caught the same silly-disease that is currently plaguing War-torn Toronto, and just wasn't back from Italy in time to join a faction for the festivities? Or maybe, I finally went off the deep end? That's always a possibility. ;) There was a vampire named Nicholas Who was flying one day With his master When he spied an ounce of His lost humanity. And next to it was a sign That said, LOST-INQUIRE WITHIN. "Oh," said Nicholas, "May I have humanity? May I please?" And his Master said, "No you may not." And Nicholas said, "But I MUST have humanity." And his master said, "Well, you can't have it, But you can have a nice warm Glass of blood when we get home." And Nicholas said, "I don't want a warm Glass of blood. I WANT HUMANITY- I MUST HAVE HUMANITY." And his master said, "Be quiet and stop angsting- You're not getting humanity." And Nicholas began to cry and said, "If I don't get humanity I'll die." And his master said, "You won't die. No vampire ever died from being inhumane." And Nicholas felt so bad That when they got home he went to his loft, And he couldn't feed, And he couldn't slep, And his heart was broken, And he DID die- All because of the humanity That his master denied him. (And because his master finally got sick of hearing him whine and staked him through the heart. Remember that the next time you feel like whining to a vampire.) **the end** *** Debbie Stevenson Chilson, aka "Fleurette"*** Cousin, IB, Vaquera, NA, and aspiring Valentine co-founder les Chevaliers de la Croix http://www.geocities.com/area51/1885/fkmend.html "There is God in you, Nicholas."- LC, Sons of Belial Schanke: "How will you get home?"
