(01/01) Dear Janette, My dearest beloved, I have missed you so much ever since you have gone off in search of your needs. My heart aches with every passing night, waiting for your return. My dearest beloved, the troubled times we had before you left are heart wrenching memories that are burned into my soul. Please do not leave me for all eternity for that will tear my life apart. My dearest beloved, writing this letter brings tears to my eyes, and as I taste my blood tears, I gain memories of you, my beloved, smiling, and killing, the pleasure you have when you are with me. But now, you are gone... My eternal beloved, I do miss you truly, I would go out into the sun to be with you.... My dearest beloved, now as the moon is full, and I am writing this letter by candlelight, all I can see is your beautiful face in the wonderful stars, how ironic that those stars are actually suns, how ironic that under the stars we are not together... I must end this letter, my dearest beloved, how ever hard this is, think of me, my dearest beloved, and come back to me... Nathanial Bestia End Part One Miranda fleurdebrabant@cybergal.com http://surf.to/FKFanficMir Nicholas de Brabant mes amis, tres tres bon! Disclaimers in Part One My Dearest Beloved (02/03) *Roar* The owls of the night went silent as the roar echoed through the trees. Silence. A scream followed that eerie silence, a scream of a mortal, suffering their greatest pain in their entire life.. Their last pain before death... The suction that followed the terrible pain filled the mouth of an immortal, who drank happily. Their lips were a bloody red, their teeth, were a bloody red. The mortal fell to the ground, drained of all his blood, she stood there, with a satisfactory smile. "One more to die, before this century ends...." she said softly, to the owls. "One more to kill..." The feeling of power overwhelmed her, a laugh bursted out of her body, a laugh of pure pleasure. The pain did not exist within her, no guilt, just an act of feeding was enough to satisfy her most primitive needs. She flew off... Then she felt him.. an eerie sense of familiarity, she turned, outlined in the darkness was his tall handsome finger, she looked as he stepped out, slowly. Embrace... a sweet soft embrace of each other, a loving sensation for creatures of evil, the power of love goes beyond the good of humanity. Her fingers ran down the side of his head, and down his neck, she kissed him again, softly... "I have found someone..." she suddenly said. Nathanial Bestia stopped the kiss of his dear Beloved.. "Someone?" he queried with an angry tone. She felt his love disappear from the way he held her in the arms. "He is handsome... strong.. he has potential, my beloved. You know as well as I do that now is the time to break off our relationship, our love is over," she explained. He clutched her hand in his own and brought her closer to his lips, kissing her gently on the lips. "You are right..." he nodded. "What is his name?" "He is a Crusader, his name is Nicholas de Brabant." she explained. "One who serves a *God*... how ironic," he noted. "He has evil inside him, powered by his good. His good is holding him back from truly being a creature of the night..." she continued. Nathanial released Janette from his arms. "Then I shall do what you want, my dearest beloved..." he looked into her blue eyes. "However, I must tell you of a change." "A change?" she queried. "As you have changed lovers, I shall also change my name.. to reflect this new... crusader of yours," he told her in a father-like tone. "And what is this name you have chosen?" she asked curiously. "LaCroix. Lucien LaCroix," he replied. "Lucifer of the Cross.. now.. that's an interesting name.." she smiled. "Of course," he replied solemnly. "Of course." End Part 2 Miranda fleurdebrabant@cybergal.com Disclaimers in Part One My Dearest Beloved (03/03) The night was young, the stars were plastered across the sky and the moon smiled its cheesy smile up high in the wonderful sky. Piled up high, the cheddar cheese laid on the table with a bunch of fruits, Crusaders going at the food, abolishing their hunger bite by bite. Nicholas de Brabant, who sat at the far end on one table. He looked up from his meal, staring in the blue crystal eyes of a young woman, who stood there, looking at him with a gleam in her eye. He watched as she slowly inserted a small piece of cheese into her mouth, chewing, and swallowing. She turned suddenly and walked away... He followed her as she walked down a long dark hallway into one of the inn's small rooms. He crept up behind her, following her, his eyes tasted her beauty as he stared at her flowing black hair. "Excuse me.... my lady." She turned around to face the knight which had followed her. "I have been waiting for you..." she whispered. A smile lit up his face. With proper manners, he went to his knees, and took her hand. Gently, he kissed her soft knuckles, and got up. She did not release his hand. Her fingers held his, as she pulled him closer. "A knight... defender of the cross... tell me, my precious knight, on this beautiful night, are you ready to be conquered?!" she asked with a grimacing smile. Her other hand opened a door and the two tumbled inside, in each other's arms, kissing each other passionately and desperately. Their close passion lasted for what seemed like hours, like days, like years. Forever caught in romantic love, they were special to each other. But then, the oddest thing happened. The woman, that he now knew as Janette got up, and walked away from him and the bed. Nicholas Knight laid back with a grin, preparing for what she would do next. With an evil smile, he watched her as she walked away. "What are you doing?" Nicholas asked. The candles behind Janette flickered, their cheesy like light dimming, then regaining its full flame. A shadow against the wall grew larger, the candles flickered even more. And then, Nicholas Knight saw... A man, a very tall man walked in, he stood by Janette, a little behind her. She turned to glimpse at the man for a split second. "His name is.. LaCroix..." she introduced. "Hello Nicholas..." he greeted calmly. "We're going to be friends..." The man disappeared as fast as he appeared again. LaCroix gave a loud roar. "For a long... long.. time..." Nicholas stared into the green eyes, the white fangs, he edged back just a bit, glancing at Janette. His gaze returned to the figure of LaCroix, who stood there. A creature that Nicholas had never encountered had come to do something to him. His heartbeat increased, faster and faster as his breaths grew shorter. That was the last image, Nicholas' mortal eyes ever saw..... * * * Dear LaCroix, My dearest beloved, I have been waiting for you. The cold winters here in Canada await your presence. You would love it here. You know as well as I do that we should be together again. I feel so lonely without you. You have been wandering with Nicholas so long. I do not know what to think anymore. Dearest LaCroix, come back and rejoin me. Our love has faded as the waves of time have engulfed the passionate fires, but to travel with you is the most exquisite being. My beloved, you have traveled through many centuries with your Nicholas rather than with me. Perhaps, now is the time to rejoin me somewhere and live life as I am living life. If all these reasons do not satisfy you, my beloved, Nicholas is here. Sincerely, Janette DuCharme ~Finis~ Miranda fleurdebrabant@cybergal.com
