I don't let many people read my poetry, so please be gentle. No spoilers, or frankly, disclaimers. It's all implied, so it's mine, mine, mine, and none of TPTB can prove otherwise. Permission to Mel Moser to archive at www.fkfanfic.com. If anyone else would like to archive it, yippee! Just let me know where you're putting it. I'd love to be archived. :) Temptation A Poem by Dana Laurens He stroked her shining, golden hair. He brushed her skin, so ivory fair. He paused along the line of heat that pumped along in vein. He entertained the thought a while, Too keep her always, in his style, His gift of love transcending age and death and life and pain. He felt the warmth that pulsed inside, Inhaled the fruit her blood belied. Sharp in him, the need to keep her with him all the night. He heard the flutter in her chest, He brought his lips to hers, to rest, And knew he could not steal her from her world, or from the light. Eyes too bright, flesh too new to ever be so old, Heart too warm, blood too hot to ever be so cold. == Dana, aka Stevana Stevana_@yahoo.com Urchin Perkolator...secretly a Diehard _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
