Date: Wed, 24 Jul 1996 12:44:53 -1000 From: Kevin Matsumoto OK, you can blame April Ruskin for this one. She told me about a Animaniacs/FK crossover that she did, and I asked her to send it to me. After that the images wouldn't get out of my head. :) There are references to my first 5 stories in this one. (Mainly Nat being an Immortal.) But this is not part of that arc, not really. I know I'm a Nick and Nat Packer but like April said I just couldn't resist. Turnabout. A FK/Animaniacs Crossover. Natalie yawned as she opened the door to the loft elevator. She and Nick had the night off and she intended to enjoy it. As she started to enter the elevator, her expression turned to one of horror. Slamming the door shut she started screaming. "NICK, GET DOWN HERE!" Nick reacted instantly to the fright in Natalie's voice. "Nat. What's wrong?" "In the Elevator." She stammered, her voice tight with fear. "What is it? The Enfocers? LaCroix?" Nick started to open the door. "Oh No! Not the Warner Brothers." Then he felt a weight settle on his right shoulder. Looking over he saw the third member of the Warner family. "You're cute..." Dot Warner said as she gave him a big kiss. In the meantime, Yakko and Wakko were getting acquainted with Natalie. "Helllloooo Doctor Lambert." They leapt into her arms. Natalie threw both Warner's to the floor and ran to grab her sword. Nick managed to extricate himself from Dot and intercepted Natalie. "It won't work Nat. A sword can't kill a toon." "So what do we do?" Natalie was close to hysteria. "Run." Nick picked Natalie up and flew out the open skylight. "Nick! No one's ever gotten away from the Warners by running." Natalie shouted over the roar of the wind. "I'd listen to the lady if I were you." Yakko's voice came from behind Nick. Nick turned his head enough to see over his shoulder. The three Warners were sitting on his back smiling at him. "Was this trip really necessary?" Yakko asked innocently. Nick kept staring at Yakko for so long that he didn't have time to avoid the tree that was in his path. As they crashed the through branches, Nick lost control and landed in a nearby pond with a resounding splat. Natalie stood up covered mud. "Nick of all the...." She stormed off. Followed by an apologetic Nick. "Oooh! I think maybe we made her mad." Yakko said. "Maybe we should apologize." Wakko replied. The three Warners looked at each other then grinned "Naah!" Came the simultaneous reply. For the next three hours, the Warners entertained themselves at the loft. Finally Natalie grabbed her sword again. "I don't care anymore Nick. If you don't get rid of them, I'm making Vampire and Toon Sushi." "We could always send them to Tracy and Vachon." "Nick that's a terrible thing to do... Would it work?" "Who's Tracy?" Yakko asked. "That's her." Nick pointed to picture of Tracy and Vachon taken at a local carnival. Both Yakko and Wakko's mouths fell open and their tongues rolled out. "Wellnicevisitsorrywehavetogobynow." The left in a puff of smoke. "Typical boy reaction. Hmph." Dot stuck her nose in the air. "This is Vachon." Natalie held the picture in front of Dot's face. "OOOHHH!" Dot's face took on a dreamy expression as small cartoon hearts surrounded her face. "Bye." And she too was gone. "Thank Heaven." Nick said as he began to clean up the place. "What bothers me Nick, is who sent the Warners here in the first place?" "That was most amusing." LaCroix's voice came from the skylight. "LaCroix!!!" Nick growled as he saw his master's face. "You sent them, didn't you?" "Of course, you didn't think that I wouldn't discover that you sent Mindy and the Warners to the station? Turnabout is fair play Nicholas." And with an evil laugh, LaCroix vanished into the night. Nick and Natalie sat there with stunned expressions on their faces. They didn't even bother to answer when the phone began ringing. They did come out of their shock when Vachon's voice came over the answering machine. "KNIGHT!, I know you're there and I'll get even for this... I know you sent them over here and... Tracy! cut that out. She might be enjoying this but I swear Knight, you'll regret this." They listened as a large crash suddenly was heard from the phone. Then silence as Vachon either hung up or was disconnected. Then the sounds of laughter could clearly be heard coming from the loft. The end. A couple of notes: This story is a sequel to Mindy meets LaCroix by April Ruskin. I go her permission before I sent it out. The Warners are a trio of cartoon Characters so wild that they had to be locked in a water tower at Warner studios for the last 40 years. In Mindi Meets LaCroix, Nick sends the Warners to go live with LaCroix. Soooo I figured that LaCroix would eventually get even :) Comments can be made to kevinm@pixi.com, All comments welcome, constructive criticisms will be accepted with gratitude, Compliments with stunned silence and Flames Grudgingly ignored.:>
