The light. And for a moment I remember how the sun once felt... before it had cause to burn. I know this light. It hid within me for centuries... wrapped in a shroud Or was it I who was wrapped in a shroud? It must have been. For though I seldom sought that light... it always found me. I did horrible things. Gruesome things. I've forgotten what they were exactly... but I know I did them. And the light would always find me. God's light? It was such a little light... to cause so much pain. I can't remember what that agony felt like but I know I felt it. It's beyond my grasp now. Life is the thing I left behind And it really doesn't matter... though I once believed it did. Farewell life... derivation of misery. A slave to you no more! The light has cleansed the muck and sweat and foul stench of you, and revealed your true name to me. Purgatory. All I am now is profound emotion. Luminous. Love, truth -- Purity. There is nothing else... and nothing else matters. Natalie is with me. She is Natalie -- but more. So much more. We are beyond hatred, lust and avarice. Beyond verbalization. Beyond your comprehension. We are one with the light. Unshackled from our mortal bonds. ------------ Susan B. cd397@torfree.net
