What is a penname and why can't I use my full name?

The Efiction software works with a one field pename. You can use your full name or a pen name with more than one word, however, it will show up in the author list alphabetized by the first character of your penname. For security purposes, you may want to use a penname.

I forgot my password! What do I do now?

To recover a lost password, click here and enter the e-mail address with which you registered. Your password will be sent to you shortly.

How do I contact the site administrators?

How do I submit stories?

If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Information and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story. You should add your story one chapter at a time.

Can I link to the story on my own website instead of uploading it?

Yes. When you go to add your story, in the first chapter story text area, enter a link to your story using the "Insert/Edit Link" button. Please do not link to the story on the www.fkfanfic.com site, as these may be going away in the future.

What are the ratings used on the site?

Ratings on stories.fkfanfic.com are All Ages and Mature (for Adult content). Please using a rating for all adult content. You can also add your story to the Adult category to list it as Adult.

What are the story classifications?

Stories are classified by categories, genres, and warnings. Genres is the type of story (funny, strange, romantic, etc). Warnings are to warn readers of potential offensive subject matter.

How do I add a category/character/genre/warning type etc?

Send an email to stories.fkfanfic.com or drop us a message using the contact form.

I want to remove my stories from the old archive and add them here, what do I need to do?

Add your stories to the new archive first.  Next, contact updates@fkfanfic.com to have your stories removed from the old archive.
